Bed & Breakfast

Awake to the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked whole-grain breads.

Breakfast may be French toast made with our maple walnut bread and served with real Vermont maple syrup, sausage, and apples.

Or perhaps, spinach and mushroom quiche made with Vermont Cabot cheeses, served with our own cinnamon raisin toast and fresh fruits. You will always find a savory delight on the breakfast menu.

We use many local products and foods, organic where possible, as local as fresh Homestead blueberries or NEK Market specialties. Special needs diets such as gluten free, egg free, or vegetarian are no problem with advance notice.

Table of Food

I love to get to know you over a cup of afternoon tea or refreshing lemonade if you arrive with time to relax before hurrying off to dinner.

At your leisure, we invite you to take advantage of our kitchenette stocked with coffee, tea, soda, fruit, and other treats. Also enjoy our gardens, porches, and deck for your relaxation.

Our Gardens and patio are abundant with color for your peaceful enjoyment. They also provide fresh organically grown berries and veggies for the table in season. I take little credit for the gardens which are expertly tended with love by daughter Linda and six year old grandson Bohdi.
garden

Enjoy biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, snowmobiling, X-country and downhill skiing, all near by. Also antiquing, the arts, shopping, and leaf peeping!

If you would like to kayak or canoe on one of the country's most beautiful and pristine rivers, the Connecticut, this can be pre-arranged through a newly formed local service. Let us know when you reserve or contact www.Still Waters Run Deep.com
Are you a horse person, experienced or want to try it iout? D-N-D Stables will take you on a trail from which to view Vermonts highest peaks on a clear day - quite awesome!

The Old Homestead is a smoke free, pet free environment with hot water heating system. We use chemical and fragrance free cleaning products, with an attempt to be allergy free.

Children are welcome with prior arrangements and parental supervision.
The Rose Garden room is 'child friendly' with plenty of stuffed animals, books and toys. We also have a pack-and-play and a high chair/booster for your convenience.
